The mission of the EHS+ Committee is to achieve continual performance improvement in worker safety, environmental and product regulatory areas of the plastics industry. It also supports the use of good science and public policy while promoting and serving member interests. The committee's Worker Health and Safety, Environmental Issues, and Product Regulatory Task Groups: 

  • Deliver environmental, health and safety information and tools for members.
  • Provide input and direction on legislative and regulatory proposals.
  • Protect polymer market interests, including providing information on domestic and international activities that affect product management.

    • PLASTICS company representatives include safety specialists, corporate directors of safety and training, EHS associates, directors of environmental affairs, product stewardship managers, directors of regulatory affairs and industrial hygienists.

    • PLASTICS full, associate or service provider members in good standing are eligible to participate in the EHS+ Committee. Representatives must have an interest in worker health and safety, environmental or product regulatory matters, and meet basic participation requirements to remain active.
