The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) has been a vocal opponent of proposals to impose tariffs on plastic products, materials and machinery. Instead of leveling the playing field, tariffs can put us at odds with our allies, create market anxieties and take us away from freer trade, which benefits the plastics industry and the global economy as a whole.

PLASTICS continues to fight on behalf of the industry and to promote free trade on Capitol Hill, in the White House, in legislatures across the country and in capitals across the globe.
